Welcome to the Aussie Book.

We created this book as a guide for people, wishing to travel Australia. After 3 trips all around Australia, we decided, moving to Australia permanently. Therefore this book is a tribute to a country we call home. We are very keen to keep it up to date. Should you find any dead links or incorrect information, please contact us by email and we will fix it as quick as possible.

It contains a lot of information and pictures. All pictures are made by us and are therefore copyrighted. If you would like to use one of the pictures for your own site or other purposes, please request permission by sending an email to aussie@sinzig.net. We hope to provide you with some useful information, also this book is somewhat different. It is not made to list the same numbers and facts about Australia that you find on every web page again and again.

Don't forget that everybody feels different. So, if you really want to know how it is, just come over and have a look yourself. The most colorful picture can't replace reality. You have to feel the heat, smell the air, watch the birds and see the kangaroos yourself. Once you've been there, you may understand what the fuss is all about.

Australia is a very fascinating country. The contrast from the busy east coast to the empty, wild west coast is as different as the unfriendly desert with its colorful red sand. It will be an unforgettable experience.
