Ayers Rock / Uluru

Ayers Rock/Uluru rises 348 metres from the desert. It's the world’s most famous monolith. It has a significant place in the Anangu’s creation stories and laws, or Tjukurpa. Aboriginal guides can take you on a fascinating tour around the the Rock and share these stories with you. There are also many walks to enjoy on your own in the area. At sunset you can see an impressive spectacle when Ayers Rock/Uluru changes its colour from red to orange to lilac just within a few minutes. And please, do NOT climb the rock.

West of Ayers Rock is Mt Olga/Kata Tjuta, a collection of weathered red domes. In the Anangu language, Kata Tjuta means ‘many heads’. Many people who come here are surprised by the beauty of the lesser known Olgas, we believe they hold even greater charm than the Rock.
