Monkey Mia

Monkey Mia, 850 kilometres north of Perth is home of the famous Dolphin Resort. Also this area (Shark Bay) has to offer a lot more, the Dolphins are it's main attraction. You just have to be there early. Somewhere between 7 AM and mid-day the Dolphins will visit the beach. Really nice to see as they are very close to the visitors. If you are lucky enough, you may go for a swimm and meet some of them.

Going home already? Stop for the Hamelin Pool. Something very special. You can find evidence of one of the earth's earliest life forms. The Stromatolites. Also they are invisible to the human eye, you can at least see the towers they build out of recycled nutrients combined with sedimentary grains.
