The city of Perth is located beside the tranquil waters of the Swan River. Perth is a modern city and contrasts with the historic port city of Fremantle. It was called the CITY OF LIGHTS by astronaut John Glenn and is also known as the MOST ISOLATED CITY IN THE WORLD. It is closer to Singapore than to Sydney. Enjoy a day on the Swan River, a picnic in Kings Park or just a stroll around Perth or Fremantle.
