Townsville

Townsville is the largest city in Northern Queensland. It is surrounded by beaches, islands and rainforest. Drive up to Castle Hill to overlook the region. Magnetic Island ist just 20 minutes from the city by ferry. Spend a day out there, enjoying the beaches, driving in a monke or walking up to the hill to enjoy a splendid view. North of Townsville is Mission Beach. Drive across the rainforest to reach this place. South Mission Beach has a caravan park right at the sandy beach. From here you may also visit Dunk Island. Another nice Island in this region.
